The Garrison Colonial Case Study in Needham

In June 2022, we purchased the Garrison Colonial-style home at 200 Hunting Road, Needham, for $875,900. Situated on a large, sloping 0.46-acre lot, the property was an ideal candidate for transformation. The house came with a fenced-in backyard, complete with an inground pool, offering privacy and plenty of space for outdoor activities.

Initial Condition:

When we acquired the home, it featured 3 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, and 2 half bathrooms. The interior layout included a kitchen open to a dinette area, a living room with a fireplace, and a sun-filled sunroom overlooking the deck and pool. While these features were attractive, the interior was outdated and required a full-scale renovation to appeal to modern buyers.
